S-400:  This model is certified to meet Class 1 treatment standards when tested by NSF International and provides the most economical and effective treatment on the market.  It can treat domestic wastewater loads of up to 400 gallons per day.  It consists of the introductory SludgeHammer® ABG column installed in the first compartment of a standard Infiltrator septic tank (Model IM-1730) with 1,500 gallons of water volume.  Air is delivered to the SludgeHammer column and distributed through a micro fine-bubble diffuser.  As the air rises, it displaces liquid in the column, which circulates with liquid, entering the column at the base and leaving it at the top.  A packet of proprietary SludgeHammer Blend™ bacteria and enzymes is introduced into the unit and held in a central refuge where it is supplied with a continuous stream of aerated liquid.

S-800: It is also certified to meet Class 1 treatment standards when tested by NSF International.  It provides the most economical and effective treatment for domestic wastewater loads of up to 800 gallons per day.  The model is installed in the inlet chamber of a 2,500-gallon standard septic tank. The SludgeHammer S-800 treats wastewater similarly to the S-400, where the SludgeHammer Blend™ of bacteria and enzymes supplies aerated liquid to break down organic matter.  The column of the SludgeHammer unit is also filled with air to displace liquid and circulate all liquid entering and leaving the column.
